I'm a Brit, but I still got it. About 3 decades of having American friends ensures I know what a faucet is!
And I'm an American who knows what a 'jumper' is in Brit English. :-) Language and linguistics are fun, aren't they, as is the perception of uncertainty when you may have gotten it wrong.
